Personally for me, it has been an honor to be part of so many of my clients journey of resiliency, healing and recovery. Medication versus therapy? If you had a choice between medication or therapy - what will you choose? when you struggle with anxiety, depression, breakups, separation/divorce or other mental health concerns. Medication numbs the pain and forces the brain to produce some chemicals that under normal conditions, human brain can naturally produce so if you use medication for mild to moderate mental health concerns, you may need more over time and/or other side effects.... Therapy in the other hand, helps build new path-ways in the brain, teaches you better coping skills to manage life stressors! Warning: This excludes severe mental health concerns such as bipolar and schizophrenia.
