What happens when your motivation dies? Do you ever find yourself ready to start a new goal, but then once you begin, you just lose motivation or interest? You convince yourself you’ll do it tomorrow, but then tomorrow becomes another meh. Not feeling today. Maybe tomorrow... The cycle continues until tomorrow becomes never. This vicious cycle of feeling unmotivated and a loss of interest is likely one, if not all of the following reasons:... 1) you don’t have a clear, set plan to reach your goal, or you don’t know how to 2) You lack the energy. You’re physically/mentally tired because you don’t sleep well 3) Brain fog + lack of mental clarity leaves you unfocused 4) You’re stressed out and overstimulated 5) You have a neurological/chemical imbalance in the brain (dopamine, serotonin, GABA) 6) Your gut isn’t functioning optimally and have issues digesting food Feeling motivated is so important to keep us moving forward. When you’re feeling stuck or in a rut, that’s when you seek guidance from a certified professional. Things you can do to revive your motivation: drink filtered water daily (I recommend @santevia) get 8-9hrs of uninterrupted sleep take breathing breaks throughout your day (5-10mins of deep breathing to refocus and meditate) pencil in time for yourself set clear, small, attainable goals limit your caffeine intake take the right supplements to help your chemical imbalances (my 5-step assessment will show exactly what you’re lacking) Still not sure where to start?
