First post since June Tbh I don't love keeping up with Instagram but I also do like how it's a platform to connect. But yeah... It can be a lot keeping up in biz. Emails. Launches. Blogging. Pinterest. Maintaining my online marketing. Social accounts. Managing all the projects and systems. Being a solopreneur (especially in a pandemic) is not easy, but been enjoying the time to learn and adapt as the world begins to change with this 'rona hitting the globe. My in-person wed...ding biz @ariettehungevents took a hit as no one is really buying cakes rn + the majority of my contracts got postponed to 2021, and I realized I need to put more energy into my online business... And to delegate. Learned the value of hiring VAs / and not needing to feel the pressure to be the Jill of all trades (which I am not... Bookkeeping? I thank God for Excel). But I continue to push forward because I do want that entrepreneur life/creative freedom lifestyle. The 9-5 cubicle life is fine for many people but it's not a life that I want. It's nice to be my own boss. It's been a blessing being able to work with and meet with some new clients and fellow creatives over the last few months, some whom I've been able to make these great connections with! Some shoutouts: @organicmommyceo, @hannahtayva, @styledbyboki, @emilywritesllc, @vybrows. They're all doing great things and I think you should check out their work and social media pages! At the moment, I'm working on finally pushing out that online course on copywriting + marketing mindset I'd been dreaming to do for a while now, and an eBook. So excited for you all to see it! Happy summer everyone! This year looks different than others but happy that the weather is nice and I get to enjoy the great outdoors. Visited a lavender farm yesterday and felt peaceful and inspired being surrounded by all the lavender florals. I'm reminded that purple is the color that represents joy, transformation, creativity, inspiration, tranquility and stillness. This past year has been a season of stillness & learning to pivot and adjust to the changing world, I've been learning more about what it looks like to let go and adapt to the new normal, especially in my business and in my career and life. Sending love to everyone else on this journey.
