Photographing miniatures (1/144 or 1/150 or approx 11 mm in height) is a neat experience and allowed me to exercise my creativity. More like, stretching the boundaries of my creativity... thank you Sally @jinseimedia for the encouragement! The post-processing did require stacking of 7 photos. At least 10 photos for stacking is better, in my opinion. For initial story, check my last post. This time, mushrooms were my earthy & rustic subjects. The bunch was small that fits in my hand. It is a single shot photo - if stacked the whole bunch and some parts of background would be crystal clear. Looking back to my July 9th post, I shared that my Canon 5D Mark II gave out. Repairs weren’t possible due its end-product line (current product line: 5D MarkIV with the latest upgrade). After my purchase decision, I waited nearly four months to receive a new Canon R5 and an EOS-R adapter. Indeed a serious backlog but they came through! The adapter arrived later than the body. In the meantime, I rented an adapter and took the opportunity to shoot some macro photography. ...It was fun!! I learned more about macro photography and I want to do more. Many thanks to Sandy! @jinseimedia Macro Series 1 of 5: Bubbly Oranje Slice November 15, 2020 #orange #slice #bubbles #bubbly #macro #experiment #learning #R5Canon #canon #mirrorless #motivation #backtophotography See more

Well, this camera has captured its final best image out of thousands over the past ten years. With this camera, my horizons expanded and my photography & editing skills grew. I look forward to growing beyond my current horizons with a new camera.
