Looking for a good time come on out at to Arkadium Retro Arcade tonight and play in our Thursday Night Pinball League. This is event #8 all action starts at 7:00 pm sharp. $7.50 drop in fee (must also pay admission to arcade). Today is the first day that Arkadium Retro Arcade is enforcing the Restrictions Exemption Program. To enter spaces participating in the Restrictions Exemption Program, people ages 12 and older will need to provide proof of vaccination. - Valid photo identification that matches the vaccine record (only required for adults 18 and over)... - Valid paper or digital vaccine record that shows name, vaccine type and date of administration: - From September 20 to October 25: proof of partial vaccination (one dose) is considered acceptable as long as the dose was given more than 2 weeks before the time of service. - After October 25: proof of full vaccination (two doses) is required. Masks are still mandatory within the arcade and children under the age of 12 are welcome to come as long as they do not show signs of symptoms. These rules are in place for the safety of everyone in the arcade and are non-negotiable. New proof of vaccination policies will be into place next Thursday based upon the exemption process set out by the government. We will outline this next week and provide signage at the arcade for those that wish to come into the facility. Our staff will all be vaccinated as well, so you will have piece of mind when entering into Arkadium Retro Arcade that we create a safe gaming environment for everyone. Those patrons that cannot produce a vaccination card, a photo of vaccin...e documents, or the online record through My Alberta Heath ID will not be able to enter the facility once this policy is in place next week. Based upon the new restrictions from the Alberta Government, Arkadium Retro Arcade will have the following restrictions applied starting September 20. - Capacity restricted to 1/3 fire code occupancy. (max 50 people) - Attendees must be with household members only, or 2 close contacts if they live alone. (can only play multiplayer arcade games with people in your household). - Masks and 2 metre physicial distancing is required. (every second machine rule... in place). Our website has been updated with the new rules, we are undecided on applying for the restrictions exemption program until we understand what is involved with the application process. We will keep you informed if decide to go in that direction. We believe we have been able to demonstrate that we can create a safe gaming environment for everyone. Just a reminder that tickets will start to go on sale for Arkadium Retro Arcade Halloween Bash on October 30, 2021. Arkadium Retro Arcade once again is going to turn off the lights, decorate the place, and be your Halloween adventure for the night. There will be lots of costumes, Special Halloween themed pinball machines, classic video arcade, special drinks, and lots of Halloween music to get everyone into season. Tickets will be on sale on September 18th, 2021 and will be... $50 + admin fee + gst per person. The ticket includes entrance fee, a free drink on our happy hour or non-alcohol menu and a door prize ticket entry to win a free pinball machine.
