Armalytics 18.07.2020

I just wanted to take a moment to summarize all of the recent re-classifications to clear up any confusion and misconceptions. Since the OIC there have been two categories of further prohibitions that have been discovered. The first were discovered when the RCMP released an update to the public FRT on May 7th, 2020. In that update it was found that 230 models/variants not named in the OIC were re-classified to Prohibited. That list can be found here: https://www.armalytics.ca.../oic-additional-firearms . It should be noted that many of these firearms were also found in the live FRT by a number of other groups/individuals. Most of these were >10kJ muzzle energy firearms and additional AR15 variants. The second set of re-classifications were found some time around May 14th/15th by those with access to the live FRT. They were able to confirm that the following firearms are now prohibited: - Adler Adler B10 (166822) - Akdal MKA 1919 (132450, 142124) - Alberta Tactical Rifle Modern Hunter (149826) - Alberta Tactical Rifle Modern varmint (146190) - Alpharms 15SA (147046) - Canuck Havoc (187342) - Maccabee Defense SLR-MULTI (181822) - Ranger XT3 Tactical (179042) - Typhoon Defense F12 Typhoon (176624) After this list came out, we at Armalytics scanned the public FRT for all firearms whose model descriptions were similar to those listed above. We ended up with what we called the "Paragraph 87 at Risk Firearms", that is to say firearms which we believed could be re-classified based on the RCMPs recent actions. The full list can be found here: https://www.armalytics.ca/paragraph-87-at-risk-firearms We asked those with access to the live FRT to help us verify that list and it was determined that apart from the 10 already confirmed, an additional 19 firearms on the list had been reclassified. Here are screenshots to the additional 19 live FRTs: https://imgur.com/a/8g9nMuX. All other firearms on that list are confirmed to be not-prohibited as of May 18th, 2020. That is where we get the final list of additional 29 firearms now known to be prohibited in the live FRT: https://www.armalytics.ca/ TL;DR The public FRT update from May 7th, 2020 confirmed that 230 firearms not named in the OIC had been re-classified due to the new regulations. https://www.armalytics.ca/oic-additional-firearms From May 14th to May 18th it was discovered by several sources that an additional 29 firearms were re-classified in the live FRT using the new regulations. https://www.armalytics.ca/
