Royal Palace, Sintra, Portugal
Palácio da Pena (Sintra, Portugal) - $250 Originally constructed as a simple chapel, by 1493 Pena Palace had developed into a monastery. The original buildings, destroyed in the Great Lisbon Earthquake of 1755, remained untouched until 1838 when King Ferdinand began transforming the crumbled monastery into a palatial summer residence for the royal family. The palace, one of the foremost expressions of 19th-century Romanticism in the world, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a national monument, and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. This major tourist attraction is also used by the President and government officials for state occasions.

Several years later, the ship was brought to the harbor only to have a storm toss the wreck back to the reef. In 1997 a team spent five weeks cleaning then towing the ship to its current location, 110 feet (33.5 meters) below the surface, a short boat ride from Sandy Bay, Utila; in 1998, Hurricane Mitch ripped the boat into three pieces.
