Tomorrow evening we continue our study of Jesus' journey through Mark's gospel account. in Chapters 4:35 through 5, we encounter various contexts of fear and suffering Jesus is engaging - from a storm, to severe mental illness, to an awful physical condition that also isolates a woman socially, to a child who has lost consciousness and is believed dead. Jesus' way of healing draws forth healing properties not only from within himself, but also in the people needing the healin...g. The key that opens the door is faith (trust). But what do faith and healing look like? What do faith and healing look like in your life? Is it faith that you are somehow protected from the storm that is Covid or healing after one has been infected? Or does faith and healing have to be much deeper than that? Join us tomorrow night, 7:15pm for some great discussion and reflection. The synergy of our mutual engagement always brings out insights our solitary study cannot always discover.
