Hello Parents and Caregivers For those of you who haven't picked up your child's Christmas presents and Christmas Art, you can do so on Friday between 10:45 and 12. Hope to see you there!

I have some new information to share that will hopefully ease your minds. The potential close contact to our preschool is negative for covid. The likelyhood of transmission is extremely low. The preschool will remain closed this week as a precaution as there are rising covid cases in our community. I want to stress that no rules were broken. All of our covid guidelines were adhered to as well as the provincial PHOs. Everyone involved has acted incredibly socially responsible and I am grateful for the care and grace of all of our families and staff. We wish those affected a speedy recovery and a happy and healthy holiday to all of the Armstrong Preschool families.

On Monday parents can pick up child’s Christmas items between 9 and 10am and between 12 and 1. If they can’t pick up during their class’ time slot, they’re welcome to come during the other class time slot. Same as above for Bonita’s classes except on Tuesday. Please only one parent attend and don’t forget your mask! ... Thank you!

Good Evening everyone (I've also sent an email around with the same information) Our priority from the start of this school year has been safety for our students, parents and staff. Due to a close contact of Covid-19 with someone at our preschool we have decided to start our winter break early as a precaution. There will be no school next week for any of our classes. We will start the new school year Jan 4, 2021 Please continue to self monitor for symptoms and don’t hesitate ...to get a Covid test if you or anyone in your family is showing symptoms. Unless you have been contacted by public health there is no need for you to self isolate. This is not considered an outbreak at our preschool but we want to be proactive. I understand this is disappointing for parents and children. The teachers are equally disappointed as they had many fun holiday plans for the students. We look forward to the New Year and wish you all the safest and healthiest of holidays. Orders are in! Purdy’s Christmas Chocolates & Growing Smiles fundraisers will be ready for pick-up on Friday, December 11th. 4AM class can pick-up their orders during 8:30 drop-off. 4PM & 3's classes can pick-up their orders between 11am-12pm.
