Steak and Kidney Pies with gravy, chips and peas, followed by Sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The English family I made these for loved their propah English meal, and said these were the best pies and Sticky toffee pudding they've had in Durham. Totally made my day

I'm back, after a short vacation with the family, and a last few days with my girls before they returned to school. The silence is deafening without my babes, but I'm back to baking and cooking up a storm. These next few weeks, I will be baking a variety of German apple cakes and desserts. I will post them on here. Another delicious German Torte. With apricots and almonds, and whipped fresh cream topping....sooo good with a hot cup of coffee. Reminds me of the charming Cafes in Europe.

Mango is one of my favourite fruit. Gluten-free, vegan Mango cake, with mango pudding, vegan buttercream frosting, and fresh mango, for a special treat.

My first Gluten-free, Vegan cake. I must say, it's amazingly delish! A soft sponge, with mango pudding in the center, finished off with pineapple frosting, toasted walnuts, coconut and mango nibbles.

We brought in the New Year with our favourite Swiss cheese fondue. And I even managed to make the fondue bread, which was sooo crusty and delicious!

After all the delicious roast meals - turkey, pork, chicken, the past few days, a welcome change. Chicken kababs and paneer kababs for apps, followed by butter chicken, butter cottage cheese (for the vegetarian other half), roti and pea pulao. All cooked in under two hours!

To say we have had a crazy 2020, is an understatement. Everyone has had their ups and downs this past year, and we are all looking forward to a better 2021. We, at Arom-ah, had a mediocre start in November 2020, when we officially launched. But December was a fantastic month, filled with the Arom-ah of baking for our wonderful clients. We are thankful for the opportunities given to us, and for the awesome feedback, and for our new and returning clients. We wish you nothing but the best for this New Year 2021. Peace, happiness, and most importantly good health to all.

I had so much fun making these gorgeous gender reveal cupcakes for a dear friend. She went with a light, refreshing lemon flavour. Sooooo delicious!
