Good Morning everyone. wishing all health and safety. Typically as you know I only post Aroma-Puetics products. However In these crazy times that we are facing now, it may be time to get back to some basics. I'm all about trying to be healthy with natural products.So I thought I would do a quick post on foraging a very healthy and beneficial weed. Purple Dead Nettle. Not to be confused with stinging nettle. This plant is in the mint family, although it does not taste like min...t. With the Covid restrictions and having to shop less frequently. Fresh greens are in your yard right now. This morning I harvested some in my yard. This little plant is an excellent source of vitamin A and C and also packed with Iron and Fiber. And the whole plant is edible.How much better can you get? And for free! Add it to salads and smoothies, sandwiches and casseroles etc.There also many medicinal properties to this plant check out some articles online. I think you'll be surprised to find the little weed in your yard you knew nothing about, could be so... good for you.
