Whats my family size? So, Family size for 2018 will be 1+2, for 2019 will be 2+2, and for 2020 will be 3+2 for income calculations. You cannot count a person for past family income if he/she never existed at that time. 2. Even if you want to sponsor 1 out of 2 parents, you sill ...need to meet the income requirements for the all parents even if they are not accompanying. 3. You cannot sponsor your in-laws, you can only sponsor your own parents. Your spouse can sponsor his/her parents. You can be a co-signer in each other's application though. 4. You don;t need to be a PR/CC for last 3 years, but at the time of application you should be a PR/CC. Over a 3-week period, from 12 p.m. EDT on October 13, 2020, to 12 p.m. EST on November 3, 2020, Canadians and permanent residents who wish to sponsor their parents and grandparents to come to Canada will have an opportunity to submit an interest to sponsor form online. In order to ensure a fair, transparent and equal opportunity for applicants, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will randomly select potential sponsors and send them an invitation to submit an application. Selected applicants will have 60 days to submit their application. A maximum of 10,000 applications will be accepted for processing as part of the 2020 PGP intake.
