Did you know that a donation of securities or mutual funds is the most efficient way to give charitably. Since capital gains taxes don't apply, you can give more and get more. You can make a donation using this tax effective way by contacting your broker. If you use a Direct Investing platform, you will need to complete a Letter of Authorization/Direction Form available from your Direct investing firm. If you choose to make this donation via CanadaHelps, you can do it in 3... steps: 1) Complete the online pledge form through CanadaHelps by providing details about your securities or mutual funds donation. 2) Send the completed Letter of Direction to your broker authorizing the transfer of your shares to CanadaHelps. 3) CanadaHelps will sell the shares and once the proceeds are received, they will send you a detailed confirmation email with your charitable tax receipt and disburse the proceeds from the sale, less a small fee, to Armenian Relief Society of Canada. Warm Jackets, sewn and designed in Armenia, were passed out in the villages near Sevan. 100 warm jackets were gifted by a company to ARS Armenia. The Smile on ...the children's faces shows hope that they believe that they will return to their homes, and live in Peace. Be a part of that hope. Help Artsakh, and Armenia.
