She is here due to dog reactivity and to learn some structure! River, the Malinois is here from Rockyview, Alberta. River is a search and rescue dog, and needs help with dog reactivity and confidence building.... Jack, the Border Collie is here from North Battleford, SK. This cutie is here to work on resources guarding, fear reactivity, confidence building and structure. Cocoa, the Lab x Dane x Mastiff mix is here from Saskatoon, SK. Check out this little guy! Today is Hugo’s first day at our Puppy Day School Program, and this is a clip from his first session! Today Hugo and his new friends learn what reward markers are, how to play engagement games, and how to work/play for food rewards! The first session is always my favourite, the shy new puppies figure out how to become confident, comfortable, and engaged pets! Hello Arsenal Fam! Just a friendly reminder... yes we do keep our door leading to the back open, but we ask that you please stay in the lobby when waiting for your dog or coming in for food, appointments/questions, etc. The back area is for employees ONLY, or clients/customers ACCOMPANIED by a staff member. Why? ... It all comes down to safety. A dog (or couple) may be roaming or working in the training areas with us. Sometimes we are working with a nervous dog or an aggressive dog and strangers coming entering may startle them or cause distraction for new dogs whom are nervous/aggressive to charge the fence.
