Meet the artists in Wayfinding! I thrive off of moving through the city. Leanne M Christie paints in conversation with the cities that surround her, from her studio in Vancouver’s Chinatown to her home in Coquitlam. As she moves between these urban environments, whether by walking, cycling or transit, she finds inspiration for her oil paintings in the transitory moments of everyday life. Originally from South Africa, Christie has lived on the West Coast of Canada for ov...er a decade. This Sunday, join the Art Gallery at Evergreen’s artist-educator Emily for a socially-distanced family-friendly tour of our gallery exhibition Arrangements, followed by a print-making activity inspired by the art on display. *There are still two spots available for our second session of the day, from 3:30-5:00PM.* Pre-registration is required and self-provided masks are strongly encouraged.
