It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Linda Bartlett passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep last night. I know that she loved sharing her art with you and your kind comments made her very happy. Thank you for that.
Surrounded by friends and family, we laid Linda to rest in a beautiful country graveyard not far from her studio. May she rest in peace.
Sunday Sept 27th is the final day to BID on Linda's painting! Help kids learn theatre skills at Theatre New Brunswick! http://isaacsway.ca/art/
This is one of Linda's paintings and it is part of the Isaac's Way Restaurant auction to raise money for underprivileged children who are natural on-stage performers! Which is uncanny since three of her grandchildren perform on stage in either theatre or in music. Linda died because her heart was too large, literally. Her heart was so large that it just stopped beating. Giving back to the community would be a wonderful way to remember her. Isaac's Way wants to give underprivileged children THEATRE lessons and you can help! Visit the restaurant and place a bid on Linda's painting. It would be a wonderful way to remember her.
Went out today to find a final resting place for Linda. We think that she would be happiest down the road from her little cottage in a spot near the woods but with a view of the river. Apparently, her urn was made by a local artist, that would make her very happy.
Today, family and friends descended on the Art Attic in Sheffield for the after noon to celebrate the life of Linda J. Bartlett. We ate, drank, laughed, talked, explored and cried. She would have been very happy to see us. I miss her with every fibre in my body and wish deeply to be able to tell her that. Thank you to everyone who joined us.

I am working on two poppy paintings in my studio. Dave and I built the frame for this one yesterday. I guess I love the colour red. The Art Attic will be opened this Sunday afternoon if anyone one of my Facebook friends are passing by and would like to stop off for a visit. The nice thing about this kind of painting is that it can be rolled up and shipped anywhere without much trouble or cost.
This ferry is aout a half hour from the Art Attic by Linda J. Bartlett
