We will be handing out Automaton kits today at Bayers Westwood from 11-12, right across from the family resource center!

We’ve been busy bees this past week sewing up 50 reusable fabric bags to bring with us to The Northgrove community garden in Dartmouth This time we brought some of Wonder’neath’s homemade Fresco kits, but added a twist: making 50 more mini watercolour kits to include inside the bags, to make them extra super special . It was a hot day but worth it! We gave away all of our kits and left with a few large zucchini’s from the garden to cook up for dinner Thank you Northgrove! We will see you on August 11th

Art Bikers Season 14 Team: Salma, Devon and Sorrel! Lots of Covid related adaptations this season including a smaller team to respect gathering limits; lots of screens, shields, masks, hand washing and sanitizing; sharing take home art kits rather than doing collaborative work in neighbourhoods; and partnering with a small number of organizations so that we respect each community's protocols for safety and limit our travel. Excited to be set up, passing out Cyanotype (makin...g a blue print using sunlight!) art kits at Bayers Westwood on this past Wednesday, July 8th -- and every second week throughout July and August! We leave extra kits with the Bayers Westwood Family Resource Centre. On Friday, July 10th Art Bikers will be dropping off more Cyanotype Art Kits at The North Grove in Dartmouth at 10am! We are finalizing other community partners and events for the summer and will post a schedule where we can meet you soon! Art Bikers is a 4Cs Legacy Program that Wonder'neath Art Society is pleased to present and grow with communities in K'jipuktuk (Halifax).
