Hi Everyone! My Name is Amanda Rakhra, I am an Inclusive Cosmetic & Paramedical Tattoo artist located in Canada. My mission has always to create an innovative approach to permanent makeup and to make it more inclusive - essentially being that advocate. What is Neutralizing? READ Neutralizing in the Cosmetic Tattoo industry is a form of a lip tattoo that targets cool tones. The main focus is to warm up and neutralize an area before depositing particular pigment colours. Why, is this important? For instance, if you have hallow, cool under eyes - would you just put your foundation on right away? Absolutely not, you would make yourself look like you belong to the Adams Family You need to put your concealer before your desire...d foundation tone. Concealer pigments typically come in yellow and orange . Same applies when providing Permanent Makeup. Falling under the Fitzpatrick 4 category (due to natural skin tone) 2. Client belongs to the South Asian community. Falling under the Fitzpatrick 5 category (due to natural skin tone) 3. Falling under the Fitzpatrick 6 category (due to natural skin tone) Predominately those that fall under the above categories tend to have more cool tone, hyper pigmented lips. The neutralizing took 2 sessions - this photo is a result after 2 sessions and more than 4 months of healing! It is extremely important to be patient and to come back to your touch up appointment, especially if you want to achieve a neutralized lip tone.
