Binky, black on black. My godchild sadly had to have her Binky put down. I think I have finished him, a black dog, on black Canson drawing paper 11x14 with Prismacolour Premiers. Photo reference provided by my godchild and used with permission. I will leave him sitting for a while in case I can tweak things before he will be given to her as a memorial portrait.

2020 THE YEAR THAT WAS: In many ways it was a difficult year, however because of it being a year of self isolation, my art became my saving grace. Here I would like to show you some collages of the art that I accomplished in 2020. Hope you enjoy looking at them.

Snuggle time - A Christmas present for my daughter! My daughter, the new grandma, sent me this picture of her and Cash, the new grandson! It was gifted today and she was over the moon! Strathmore Toned Tan Mixed Media paper 400 Series 9x12 and Prismacolor Premier pencils.

I have been working on some secret objects that cannot be revealed until given to the recipients but one of them was an early Christmas gift to good friends and it was presented yesterday. Miss Sady Mae went to her real home and the family was very happy with her.

I finally was able to watch the last episode of Lisa Ann Watkins’ tiger drawalong and this is my best effort with the materials I had. Canson Black Drawing Paper 92 lbs, 11x14 White and Black Prismacolor Premier and Derwent Studio Chinese White/Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor White and a little bit of color for they eyes. Thank you Lisa for making this beautiful tutorial available for all of us

I just finished this wonderful tutorial by Rhonda Dicksion called Dazzling Chrome! Prisma Premier Coloured Pencils On Strathmore Bristol Vellum 11x14

Now that the recipient received her gift, I am happy to show this commission of a double portrait of Maggie and Sadie. The size is 14x17 on Strathmore Bristol Vellum Series 300. Pencils used were Prisma Premier.
