Spent my first day of 2021 colour matching. A wonderful way to start the new year! Mixing reds to capture the hue of these beautiful berries was a joy. I always work with a live specimen to ensure scientific accuracy. Can you guess what plant these berries are from?

May the magic of Christmas fill everyone's heart this Christmas! May we never be too old to see the magic and know the joy, wonder, hope, love and peace that Christmas brings! May you and your family be blessed this Christmas!
Day 1 Spread Joy. I was nominated by Kathy Drewitt to post 10 pictures for 10 days that bring me joy, no explanation and to nominate someone new each day. I nominate Linda Jewell.
Check out my new website! I sincerely appreciate all who have encouraged me to pursue botanical art. This observational art form encourages one to slow down and conscientiously appreciate our beautiful plant world. What a wonderful world it is! #botanicalart #botanicalartist #botanicalwebsite #botanicalwatercolour #botanicalartlover #plantlover #plantpainter #heatherplant
I am thrilled to have my painting, 'Before the Storm', selected by jury for the ASBA 23rd International Exhibition! This is an Iris that I grow in my garden, a particular favourite! I love its rich deep colour.
Although we cannot come together, l pray that you are richly blessed this Easter with good health & happiness.

This is so very true. Paying it forward...to bring out the best in others, we need others to bring out the best in us.
Every OPTIMIST CLUB was formed by people who wanted to reach out to help youth and the community; people like YOU and ME.
Just one spot left in our eight week watercolour class! If you think you'd like to be brave and challenge yourself in 2020, give me a call 905-531-7004. Eight lessons $100, students are responsible for their own materials.
A great way to 'pay it forward'! Imagine if all 50 tickets are sold that would be $1,250 worth of food gift cards! YOU can GIVE SOMEONE OR the local FOOD BANK a REAL CHOICE. Call 905-379-9767 for a ticket.
