When I first moved to Stettler in 2011 and I made my first night drive past the Nova Chemicals plant at Joffre, I said: "One day, I would like to try to paint that". And I have repeated that over and over everytime I drive past. It's like driving by the most magnificent light display. Well 9 years later, I finally found the time to complete my painting. I have worked on it and put it away several times over the past 3 years, just never finding the space and time to really hun...ker down and get 'er done. It is not an accurate painting of the actual Joffre site, but the inspiration 100% came from it!
