It’s been awhile since I posted anything. Hard to get motivated lately but finally got this one finished.

Starting a new one in pencil this time. Inspired by watching to many episodes of Yellowstone. Kevin Costner is still my crush

Seems like more and more art is being done on computers and tablets with apps and plastic pencils. The art of drawing and painting and sketching seems to be a dying. Well I hope not because I’m just getting started. This is what sketching looks like when it’s near the first stage of completion. Takes about an hour to do a 2 square section. Pastels. This kind of art isn’t perfect, but neither is real life. Sometimes I think I should make my stuff look more perfect then what it’s supposed to be naturally. But that’s just not my style. Yeah or nay for what I have going on so far???? I see so many things I have to fix on the second go round.

Slowly coming along. Finishing by New Years is definitely not happening. Maybe by the end of January

First pass is finished. Start on the touch ups then take it to my guy, the frame master.

2020 is going out like a lion....let’s hope that 2021 comes in like lamb

About says it all....

I started making these brackets about 8 years ago. A couple boutiques in Banff sold them and they did very well. Sort of resurrected them a few days ago. They’re fun to wear.
