To all my FB friends, if you're wondering what would be a great way to celebrate International Women's Day here's an idea; Have you ever given a loan to Kiva.org?... 6 years ago, a $200 donation has led to over 80 loans to women who are working to make a better life for them and their families. That is an incredible ROI. Imagine if giving $200 today could impact thousands of people ongoing by continuing to loan that money in $25 increments to women in need. I have an incentive to spur you on to contribute. I started a Art for Microlending page a while back where I would donate 50% of what I made on artwork to Kiva.org. In honour or International Women's Day for every woman you support with a loan of $25 I will send you one of my alcohol ink paintings. It can be a gift or a surprise for someone and I'll even include a note on the back. I'll even take commissions if you support two women with loans. All you need to do is; -Send me the proof of the loan you made -Select a painting or say 'lucky dip' - Provide an address to send your painting to and an inscription if you like.
