Thanks for your patience folks, while I focus on Doug and getting him through this second time hip replacement redo. I see that there are a bunch of messages but I will get to them next week, I promise. We are booked up for custom orders for the remainder of 2020 as we took fewer this fall with Doug's illness taking priority. We still have room on the Christmas pre-order list though so we will be getting back to everyone Monday. I'm just tired and need to rest this weekend as I am able now that Doug is home and beginning his recovery. Thanks for understanding. After the weekend I won't be so sleep deprived and can get on with cookies again. Here's to a speedy recovery!

Hey guys, I'm still closed this week to look after Doug but I wanted to update you. Doug's out of surgery and is expected to make a full recovery. They found black corrosion in the hip joint which goes along with what they expected and replaced the ball with ceramic. The titanium stem in his thigh is solid so they didn't have to do anything with that. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers! We appreciate it so much. I'll be back online on Monday next week. I need to stay 100% focused on Doug just now, so we appreciate your patience and understanding.

We are still taking Christmas Variety Pack Special pre-orders but I'm closing down for a week now so I can be available for Doug. He's getting his new hip Tuesday. I think we're ready. Last time Doug had his hip replaced, I broke my foot a month after his surgery and was in a boot or cast for 10 months until I had a plate put in and I recovered from that. This time we're smarter.

Forgive the length but this is important info. Thanks! Doug's hip redo is next week Tuesday. He has metal poisioning from his last hip replacement so they are going in to replace with ceramic. Please keep him in your thoughts as this is a very big worry. I'm finishing up some of the last custom orders this week and then I need to take a week off to be available for him. They won't let me in the hospital which is a crazy thought but totally understandable during these t...imes. Oh my heart! We can't take any more custom orders in 2020 but we are now taking spots for January. There were a few requests for spots earlier so if that was you, please don't hesitate to contact me again. At the time I wasn't sure what I was going to do for January. Sorry for any inconvenience. Christmas pre-orders are brisk but I've got some help coming so I can take more orders. Delivery Dec 12-13 to Regina, Weyburn and Moose Jaw and towns along the highway. Cookie decorating workshops for adults only will be in Dec. With all the restrictions I cannot manage kids just now. I love kids but they need more help than I am allowed to give at the moment. We have many many interested but we haven't taken registeration yet as we are waiting to hear if public health will approve our plan. 8 per class in a 1200 sq ft space in our studio in Yellow Grass. There will have to be many 2-1/2 hour workshops to accommodate the volume of those interested so make sure to message us if you are interested along with the name of any friends who will need to be with you in a class. I'm working on a chart for sign ups but likely won't have this done until after we know about Doug and what they find in there. If I don't reply to your message right away it is because my heart is focused on my hubbie, but know that I will absolutely get back to you as soon as I can.
