Similar to the Immersive Vincent Van Gogh Exhibition, there is another famous artist Claude Monet that is showing an Immersive Experience of their artwork. Beyond Monet makes its world premiere in Toronto at the Metro Toronto Convention Center (225 Front Street West) this summer for a limited engagement experience. Featuring the artist iconic pieces that are largely projected around the convention center bring the art to life in front of our eyes. This immersive experience w...ill be running from Aug 6 - Oct 3. Toronto Museum and Art Galleries are reopening back up as of next week, just in time for a new exhibition to check out at the AGO. The iconic POP ART artist, Andy Warhol, exhibition is opening on July 21 October 24, 2021. The exhibition showcases portraits and conceptual work and experimental installations. AGO admission is FREE for AGO Members, AGO Annual Pass Holders and Visitors 25 and under. This is a great summer activity for kids, teenagers and young adults to go vis...it. There are many events running in Toronto this summer, as places are gradually reopening. One of the events that can check out is Toronto Winter Stations which is under a new program called Spring Station. It got postponed due to Covid 19 restrictions and lockdown within the province, but now you can enjoy the art in a new unique and safe outdoor environment with the new regulations and to practice social distancing while at the station. This Spring Stations event runs from May 6 until July 31 and is FREE for all ages. There are 4 installations located near Distillery District area and while in the area, you can also stop by and shop around the shops. To start off your March Break, you can check out the Gardiner Museum for free this upcoming weekend on Saturday March 14 & Sunday March 15 to celebrate their anniversary. The museum opens from 10am - 5pm and is welcoming everyone to attend. There is a family clay event from 11am - 3pm. Also can check out others exhibit, including a new exhibition "RAW" which is a contemporary art, clay installation that showcases the possibilities of this ancient medium that still can be transform throughout art today. March Break is almost nearby and it's the time to relax and have fun. Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is showcasing a exhibit of Winnie - the - Pooh: Exploring a Classic. This event runs from March 7 - Aug 3, 2020. This experience is immersing into the world of Winnie - The Pooh story and the activities ranges from hands on to stepping into large environmental sketches that brings the story to life. Fujifilm Canada is hosting a photo exhibition at Square One Shopping Center for 1 week only until Sunday Oct 13 to display 1300 photograph works submitted by Canadians. This will be the second time hosting in Canada. This exhibit is free and is open during the shopping mall hours. There will even be a Photo Station that offers a free print to visitors. Here is an upcoming event to be checked out, AGO is hosting an All Hours long event on Saturday January 25, opening from 10:30am - 10pm. This allows visitors to enjoy the day at the gallery, check out student's work, pop up events, drop in gallery tours and watch performances by local artists all at the AGO.
