Thanks a lot to everyone who voted, volunteered, and supported me in the election. It is encouraging to see the number of people becoming aware of the fact that an Independent MLA can get more done for our communities. On the campaign trail, I spoke with so many people who were eager to move beyond partisan bickering and the politics of fear.... So many understood that a healthy economy depends upon us working together to: ~Balance the budget and reduce debt ~Bring about democratic reform ~End the carbon tax ~Promote business in the North ~Develop our domestic natural gas industry As well as looking after Northern needs like reinstating school bus funding, emergency healthcare services and returning forestry to Fort Nelson, to name a few. Independent MLA’s will allow for the cooperative, forward looking policies that will benefit businesses and families across BC. Thank you to everyone for voting, whether or not you put an X beside independent. However, our job is not done before the next election: it is up to us, the whole electorate, to hold our MLA accountable to the issues of our riding before the party's wants. Let us ensure our provincial government works for the independent needs of the North. Thank you for being citizens. - Arthur Hadland
The debate of whether voting is a right or privilege may rage on but I do consider that voting is absolutely essential for the preservation of democracy. Please Vote Today and encourage your family & friends to do the same.
Do you consider voting a right or a privilege?
Hello Supporters and Volunteers, One last push tonight to inform the public of their option for A True Northern Voice in Victoria. Please meet us at Alwin Holland school just before 6 tonight. If you can not make it, please remember to vote and tell your friends & family to do the same!
This is a very close two-way race. Please invite your friends and family to vote. Let's win tomorrow! Vote for the North. Vote Independent.
