Meet our Staff Kirstin was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. She graduated with honors from the French Immersion program at Superior Heights and went on to pursue her post-secondary education at Sault College, where graduated in business. She continued her education at Seneca College in Toronto, where she graduated with a degree in fashion business. Kirstin joined our team in February of 2019 and gained her license as an advance planner in August of that year. She is... enjoying the challenge that this new career brings and loves helping families have their arrangements in place to relieve the burden from their loved ones. Prior to joining our team, Kirstin worked at a locally owned fashion boutique downtown called Feel’n Fabulous where she was employed for 9 years, serving as a manager and buyer for 3 years. She has volunteered for many fashion shows raising funds for Arch and Sault Area Hospital. She is also proud to have donated her hair twice for cancer patients and plans to continue doing so. In her spare time, she loves to travel, spend time with family, venture out to camp and cuddle with her dog by a bon fire.

Meet our Staff La-Na Fragomeni; Advance Planner La-Na Fragomeni has been an advance planner with our team since mid-2011, having worked as a retail manager with Canadian Tire Corp for 30 years. In 2014, she became the first person in our organization to hold a license in advance planning. She finds her work to simplify the funeral process and assist families during difficult times to be very fulfilling. She is a proud recipient of the Chamber of Commerce's 2018 Paul Dalseg Co...mmunity Achievement Award, most recently the 2020 recipient of the prestigious Athena Women's Leadership Award. She is always excited to give back through her involvement with numerous community organizations. Outside of work, La-Na enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 daughters and grandchild, celebrating Christmas, visiting family & friends and traveling to create new memories, adventures, and experiences. Meet our Staff Our newest member Riley-Jo MacFarlane following in her mother Debbie-Jo's footsteps nearing completion of her internship as our newest Funeral Director. Recently married starting a new chapter in her life.

Meet Our Staff William Kiteley Bill is the former owner of the Barton & Kiteley and Arthur Funeral Homes. He has been a licensed funeral director there since the mid 1960s and is still involved in day-to-day operations. He is married to the former Rosalind Cook from Bar River. They have 3 children and are proud grandparents of 6. Involved in many community activities, Bill has been a Rotarian since the 1970s and a longtime member of Keystone Masonic Lodge.

Meet Our Staff Kendall Ann Brule; Funeral Director Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Kendall Brule began her career in funeral service in 2015 in a part-time capacity. She continued to pursue this profession at College Boreal, completing her internship and receiving her funeral director license in August 2018. In her spare time, Kendall enjoys her animals, horseback riding, hunting and fishing.

Meet Our Staff Taylor Dawn Gilmar; Funeral Director Taylor was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie. She joined our team in 2010 as a high school co-op student. She graduated from Humber College and received her funeral directors license in 2014.
