My goodness, Huib and I thank all of you for the many warm wishes and encouraging words. You all are so very important to us. We think now of the many people in Paris and around the world that do not get to grow old together, that miss the time they could have spent with friends. Our prayers go out to so many in this terrible time of crisis. Stop today as you see someone in need, even if it is just a smile, a few dollars, or a time to LISTEN so many never have someone to listen to them. Take the challenge with a smile on your face. Well, today Huibert surprised me and drove to work. It has been one month since his surgery. The last week has been very exciting for Huibert. He has much less pain, more energy, and his appetite is coming back. Again, thanks to everyone for your special attention given to both of us..... the drives from Larry, visits from many friends, and even some coffee drop offs to Karen at work. The uphill healing looks a bit less daunting.
