Let's talk Brow Shaping and Mapping Step 1 and an ultra important step in your Microblading appointment is mapping out your brows. This is done immediately after you consultation, prior to numbing and choosing a pigment shade.... We map out your brows based on your facial structor and measurements. But how do we do this you ask? Well the are quite a few methods, and not one method is better than the other. Alex uses the String Mapping method, and Sara uses the Caliper Method. Basically with both methods we use Pre- inked Mapping String or a Wax Brow Pencil (from @browtab of course) to mark the important points/lines of your brows and face. Fronts of your Brows Tops and Bottoms of your Brows Tail length and dip point. Tops and bottoms of your arches. After checking these measurements- making sure they are as symmetrical as possible on both brows and within the correct Golden Rule Brow measurements. We then connect these points using a Brow pencil, to give you the outline of your new brows. A mirror is then handed to you and we discuss the new shape and structure that we have created for your brows. This is the time to speak up, tell us how you feel, ask any questions and voice any concerns. Small adjustments can always be made at this point for personal preference.
