Normally I post work that we have been working on. Today I began work on a bathroom that had a leak appear in the ceiling. The following pictures show what we found...vapour barrier installed incorrectly and wrong material, fan was vented into the airspace between the roof and drywall, wrong kind of insulation, the wall studs are pieced together and spacing is not to code. Result...mould, roof to be torn off and the entire exterior wall to be removed and rebuilt, new drywall and lots of expense. Good example of what happens when work is not done properly

Here is custom cabinetry and fireplace recently complete.

We were asked to review a sagging ceiling in a newer addition to a century home. After an engineering review the beam was determined to be undersized, we installed a new steel post from the second floor to the basement and jacked the second floor up 1 1/2 inches. Problem solved

Plumbing installed, foundation underpinned, curbs in and lowered floor poured. Framing starts Monday!
