Good morning everyone. I hope you all get to enjoy the wonderful sunny day that’s expected in our area. I won’t have the shop open this weekend due to the fact that I’ve got a cold. I went for a COVID test and it’s negative but still it’s important to reduce any contacts until I am 100%. Next week I expect to be open Thursday through Saturday from 11-3 but I can be open anytime by appointment next week if you prefer another time.

Is it too early to be thinking of spring? Open Thursday- Saturday 11-2.

I hope everyone is managing okay while staying home. The last ten months have been a struggle for all of us. When I think about what we’ve all been through, I relate it to a hike to the top of a huge mountain. It’s been a very exhausting hike so far. Whether or not we get to walk down the other side and enjoy the view or have to stay on the uphill climb depends on all of us staying home. I have considered posting a few pictures of the new things that I have for sale in our li...ttle shop but I have decided not to. Yes, I can offer contact free payment methods and curb side pickup it but is that new decor or gift absolutely essential? I think we all have to be diligent and separate our wants from our actual needs. If you need a gift for a family member’s birthday or special occasion perhaps you can make them their favourite meal and deliver it to their doorstep or make them a card with an IOU promise note for a gift to come in the future. Our little shop will be here for you when we are all able to move a bit more freely and some of the restrictions lifted. In the meantime I hope you are able to find an indoor or outdoor activity that you enjoy doing to keep your mind and body healthy. Sincerely Frances. See more
