Hey everyone! Some of you may have noticed that we have started a new Facebook page, Picton Tattoo Club! This will be our new official shop page and all future posts will be made there. We will leave this page active for a while to help redirect anyone who has yet to hear of our recent name change. We will be adding new content to our new page soon so stay tuned. Thank you to those who already follow the new page, we would love it if you haven't to click on the link and give our new page a follow and share with your friends to spread the news! Thank you so much to everyone for your continued support and we hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!
Facebook is still being a turd and won't accept our name change. Not sure if it's an issue of the name being so different it looks misleading to followers as they say or if it's because we have a geographical location in the name?? Either way, it's frustrating to say the least as it either means spending time i don't have making a whole new page or abandoning Facebook altogether and just focusing on Instagram and revamping our website. So here's the question, how many of you like seeing us on Facebook? Either because it's your social media go-to or perhaps you don't have Instagram? If you would like us to keep a Facebook page up and running, show us a little love with a or a or leave a comment on this post! Thanks!

Welp, it appears the "good" folk of Facebook, aka their robots, don't approve of us changing the shop name and are being difficult. For those that follow us here on Facebook, please bear with us, the name change could take a little longer than expected so you'll still see posts made by "Artistic Inklings" in the meantime.

As many of you may remember, before this whole pandemic started we began our renovations at the shop. During our unexpected time off Ian was able to complete the renovations and as you can see by this post the interior wasn't the only thing getting an overhaul! With in-house artist @Ian_langdon becoming a more permanent fixture within the shop we decided that it was time to let everyone know what we're all about and that we are here to stay! So, without further ado, we wou...ld like to welcome you to the Picton Tattoo Club! We even have some sweet swag and stickers available! ( t-shirts $25- sizes sm to xl (new shipment coming soon) stickers $2 or get a free sticker with your T-shirt purchase or tattoo! A big, BIG thanks to Ian for all his hard work in helping make this happen! With covid and a newborn, my time and hands have been very limited and I'm truly grateful! Shout out to Dan at The Vinyl Solutions here in the County for the slick job on the new sign and windows as well as @ironcladgraphics in Kingston for pumping out our first batch of T's! More designs to come in the future! And last, and most importantly, a huge thank you to you, our wonderful clients, friends and family for continually supporting Ian and I's work and making all this possible! All future posts will be made under our new name, but please bear with us as we get our name changed across all media platforms.
For the love of ladies! Would you look at these little numbers done by @ian_langdon
We've had the shop open for a few weeks now and @ian_langdon has been laying some sick lines on the good folk of picton while I stay home and take care of the little ones. Social distancing measures are still in place at the studio. For more info or for bookings please email Ian directly at [email protected]

Hey everyone! First off....Ian and I miss you! We miss what used to be our everyday routine, our interactions with our clients and especially tattooing! Even tho we are still plugging away at some upgrades to the shop and trying to keep ourselves busy artistically, it's been tough and we are anxious to be back in the shop doing what we love best. At this point, with the state of emergency being extended until at least June 30th, we really have no clue when the government ...is going to allow tattoo shops to reopen. They may start looking at small businesses regionally to determine when it's safe for them to open again, but until we have more info all we can do is wait. We will keep everyone posted as we find out more and as mentioned previously, all deposits will still be honoured and those clients whose appointments were cancelled due to covid will be contacted for the first available rebookings in priority sequence, followed by all other tattoo inquiries in the order they have been recieved. That being said, for my clients with ongoing projects that I was trying to finish up before baby #2 arrived, I do apologize that this wasn't possible. I am now just a couple weeks away from my due date, and had planned on being off work by now regardless of the current situation, but hadn't intended on being on forced maternity leave 3 months early (That really threw a wrench in my plans!) To these clients, I will reschedule you as soon as I am able to get back to work with priority booking of course. Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding during these strange times and as always for your continued support. We look forward to opening our doors to you again soon!
The shop remains temporarily closed, but I'll be working on this set of tattoo- inspired floral watercolours since spring is right around the corner. Once completed, I will have prints available for purchase for individual images or a complete set! Hope everyone is finding some positive in all the time off and isolation and that you remember to do some things you enjoy! We will be sure to let everyone know when it is safe for us to reopen.
Due to the latest developments and recommendations of Health Officials and Government, we will be temporarily closing our doors until at least March 31st. At this time we will re-evaluate the situation based on the most current information and will be keeping everyone updated via social media. We apologize for the inconvenience, those cancelled out will be rebooked in priority sequence. ... We hope everyone is being safe and hopefully with all of us doing our part we can lessen the spread of this virus.
During this time we are trying to keep the current bookings that we have at the studio, while implementing some new precautionary procedures. Any clients who have: -travelled outside of Canada within the last month, -who have come into contact with anyone who has travelled,... -are showing any slightest symptoms of cold or flu or -would voluntarily like to postpone their appointment we are urging you to let us know immediately. We will not be taking any new bookings until after April 6th or whenever the school boards decide to reopen schools. Any appointments that are to be rescheduled will be done so in priority sequence when bookings resume, and all deposits on hand will be honoured. We will not have our doors open to the public for consultations or bookings, we will only allow our scheduled clients(no friends, partners or children accompanying - strictly clients only) admittance to the building and we'll have our doors locked otherwise. We all need to do our due diligence to keep ourselves safe and healthy. Please remember: a tattoo is a luxury; let's not take our health for granted for something out of want rather than need. Due to the nature of our work, we do have to work very closely with our clients and would also like to note that these plans could very well change to a complete shop closure with very little notice. We thank everyone for their understanding, patience and cooperation with this matter.
Some more "classic" work from Ian!
Just a reminder that our artist Reception for Summer in Black River is tonight from 6-8pm! See you there!
