CBC interviewed me regarding the abuse I suffered at the hands of my therapist Pamela Sleeth. Best part for me: their lawyers went over my story and my evidence and like forensic psychiatrist Dr Colin Ross (who wrote the Foreword to my memoir Coming To Voice: Surviving an Abusive Therapist) and like the Crime Victims Assistance Program (who confirmed the victimization) agreed to name my abuser. As Pam always said 'It is important to name who is doing what to whom.' Abuse b...y therapists is a grossly underreported and misunderstood issue. Victims are being silenced or worse - made to believe it is a romantic relationship. I am so relieved that this issue is finally being discussed out loud.
