Calling all the mycophiles, I have some old edible mushroom GRAIN spawn bags that I'm giving away for free. I need space in my fridge for my next project but feel guilty composting them. These are grain spawns, you can inoculate sawdust with them. 1 bag of grain spawn can inoculate at least 10 of those 5 lb sawdust bags. If you have some mushroom cultivation experience and want some free spawns, please let me know. Here is the list: Shiitake: 1 bags Pioppino: 3 bags King oys...ter: 3 bags Oyster: 1 bag I also have 2 bags of Lion's mane sawdust spawn for sale for only $10 each. You can directly fruit them from the bag or inoculate hardwood logs with them. Just let me know. Sorry, I won't be able to deliver or ship them. You can pick up here or we can meet up somewhere within the valley.

Wine cap mushrooms (Stropharia rugosoannulata) just popped out in my raised bed. I started my garden quite late this season because of the frost. I decided to go ahead inoculating one of beds with some old sawdust spawn and didn't really expect any. Wow, what a fun surprise! #kingstropharia
