ARTS Senior Animal Rescue

Meet the ARTS adoptables! This album is updated daily. Our animals are in foster homes located in Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, and their surrounding areas. We allow out of province adoptions but require the adopter to come in person to meet the animal in their foster home. Dog adoption fees are $260, and cats are $100. We adopt based on the best fit for the animal and not on a first come first serve basis. However, we do stop accepting applications for an animal after we hav...e received 10 or so applications. This allows our adoption team to process the applications and contact people. During our busy time or for popular animals we advise people that it could take up to two weeks to receive a response to your adoption application. We thank you for your patience! The animals at the end of the photo album may be listed as on Medical Hold, Closed for Applications, or Pending Adoption. We kindly ask that you do not submit an application for those animals at this time. Please click on the individual photo to see a link to that animal's bio and personal photo album. Each picture will also have a link to our adoption application and further information about our adoption process.

Pebbles has the prettiest emerald eyes. What coloured eyes does your kitty have? Pebbles is being fostered in Calgary and still needs a home. She has a big appetite, loves to play, and for some reason only has half a tail! She is sociable and friendly. Pebbles gets along with dogs, cats, and we think she will be fine with kids. Two beautiful new faces are now available for adoption! Both cats are being fostered (separately) in Edmonton. Evie (tabby) is 16 and is the quirkiest little love bug. She enjoys looking at herself in the mirror, moving her water dish around just to confuse you, and talking to you in her very distinct and unusual meow. She’d like to be your only pet. He figured out his leash in no time and now he loves going for walks. He’s also very friendly and if it were up to him you’d be petting him all the time. Oreo has no other animals in his foster home, but we were told that he has previously lived with dogs, cats, and kids quite happily. He is 9yr old and a complete goof. He enjoys playing with his toys, running around like a mad man, and hanging out with the big female dogs in his home (these are the only kind of dogs he wants to live with). Tessa has received multiple applications all thanks TO YOU! We truly have some of the best followers ever. If it wasn’t for your shares, she would have gone unseen for many more months. Now we are hoping for a little more magic to help find our trio a home. They are 11 year old siblings who have only ever known each other. They are good with other other cats and untested with dogs, but we don’t expect it to be an issue at all. They are heathy aside from Louie who needs a onc...e daily pill (easy to do- he loves food). This little stud muffin is still looking for a home. Riley is an active dog and would appreciate a home who will take adventuring. He might look grumpy because of his pug face, but he’s actually a very happy boy! He’d love to play fetch with you.
