The ocean was Man-Yin Tsang’s classroom as she earned her PhD in Department of Earth Sciences, University of Toronto. Her passion to study nature in nature took her to Nankai Trough, south of Japan, where she collected samples to better understand the temperature limit of life below the seafloor.
