Meet the ever-talented Alyssa (aka Ali G ) Alyssa graduated from the York Sheridan Design program with a degree in graphic design. During university and after graduating, Ali spent a couple of years working as the sole designer at an internet marketing company. She came to realize she was missing the collaboration and creativity of a design team, and soon found herself at Art... & Science, where she has been happily designing for about six years. Ali would love to help young design professionals craft a great design portfolio. Shes also happy to chat about what a designer role might look like in an agency setting, the latest design trends or her newest obsessioncrochet!

What better day than today to celebrate the many A&S team members who have come to Canada from around the world and now call this country home. We are grateful to have them with us and for sharing their global experience in every project we take on. The Pride movement was founded in protest. Those protesting demanded that we recognize groups of people in our society were (and still are) being demonized, vilified and criminalized, simply for being who they were born to be. Today we continue to see the need to fight, to protest, to stand up and say enough is enoughracism, homophobia, and transphobia have no place in a civil and just society. These biases are ingrained in our institutions. We need to recognize and name the...m for what they are if we are going to put an end them. This Pride month we honour those who came before us, who bravely stood tall in the face of adversity and demanded better. We can and will continue to stand up to injustice, to call out racism and homophobia when we see it, and work together to make this city, country, and global community a better place for all. Every year, roughly 550,000 Canadian students graduate from a post-secondary institution eager and ready to enter the workforce. This year is no exception, except for a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic causing massive hiring freezes and shifts in operational capacities for businesses. Oh yeah...that. Graduates everywhere, after pouring their coffee-infused blood, swea...t and tears into their education, are all left with the same question, "Now what..?"
