Attention theatre artists: The Toronto Fringe has officially opened a Digital Lottery for artists who want to present new work at the 2021 Digital Fringe Festival. This year’s festival format invites artists to create any kind of digital theatre experience to be hosted on an exclusive online presentation page. Calling all artists! Our friends at The Toronto Fringe are accepting submissions for their Digital Play Contests, including the New Play Contest, the Adams Prize for Musical Theatre, and the 24 Hour Playwriting Contests. All three contests close on March 19. Winners are guaranteed a free spot in the 2021 Digital Toronto Fringe Festival, as well as a generous cash prize. The Canada Life Assurance Company has been generously funding our after school arts program ASAP since 2010. We were so sad when we had to put this program on hold due to COVID, so we are thrilled that it is now back up and running online! This month, ASAP: Art & Resilience participants are having a great time using papier mache to make their own personalized nesting dolls from the comfort of their own homes....
