A few things to think about when choosing your birth environment: People: who is 100% invested in you and the birth of your baby? Lighting: dim lighting often helps created a more peaceful surrounding and helps oxytocin to flow. Temperature: your body temperature will fluctuate, it’s important to stay comfortable throughout the birth process.... Smells: is there something you’d like to have with you to promote relaxation? Sounds: decreasing noise and stimulation can help you relax, having a playlist might influence your mood as well. YOU: what resonates, uplifts, and might fuel your birth experience?
