They use simulator training in the flight and marine industries - why not in trucking, too? https://www.trucknews.com//demand-for-simulato/1003144409/
Good to know. https://www.trucknews.com//cra-increases-meal-/1003144199/
Obviously were all in the wrong business if this tow company is charging out at $595 (US$!) per hour per worker! It would be interesting to know how many of the companies try this sort of thing, and of those, how many trace back to the same ownership. https://www.trucknews.com//ontario-fleet-fight/1003143783/
Steps in the right direction. Hopefully theyll train drivers for anywhere they might go (mountains!), not just the landscape where theyre training. https://www.trucknews.com//saskatchewan-and-al/1003143478/
Nice to see some improvements. https://biv.com//surrey-delta-commercial-truck-parking-pro
These truck wraps are amazing. https://www.newswire.ca//turbo-images-rolls-out-messages-o
It will be great to have a place closer to Vancouver where big rigs can park. https://voiceonline.com/north-surrey-truck-parking-facilit/
This story is scary on so many levels. Nobody should die for protesting, but its yet another example of the general public having no idea how big trucks operate and thinking they can just treat them like theyre pickups, whether its trying to cut through on a corner when a big rig has pulled out to turn, or trying to give bottled water to hogs in a truck. But for there to be a bounty on the truckers head? Thats going too far. If safe protesting laws had been enforced in the first place, this wouldnt have happened. https://london.ctvnews.ca/truckers-face-death-threats-follo
This looks like it could be useful. https://www.delta-optimist.com/b-c-translink-release-new-on
This is a good idea. https://www.theobserver.ca//ontario-to-help-fund-oversized
If you were taking a crane across the bridge to work on its replacement because the bridge was getting too old, wouldnt you check that the bridge could carry your total weight before heading across it? https://www.thechronicleherald.ca//weight-of-truck-crane-/
I dont think this job ended as planned. These are the kind of people who give all truckers a bad name - not enough lights, no licences, no insurance... https://edmonton.ctvnews.ca/semi-truck-towing-mobile-home-s
This guy needed a keeper. Or a pilot car. https://www.theguardian.pe.ca//truck-driver-trapped-after/
Nice to see at least a few Canadians featured in this calendar. https://www.trucknews.com//canadian-trucks-shi/1003141924/
Not your usual load! Id be afraid a dog that small would get lost in the cab of my truck! https://regina.ctvnews.ca/puppy-makes-cross-border-journey-
Stay safe out there, everybody! https://www.cbc.ca//man/manitoba-covid-19-update-1.5600052
An entire issue devoted to trucking and COVID-19. https://www.trucknews.com//special-edition-of-/1003141180/
Interesting article. People are starting to respect the trucking industry and realize its an essential service. https://www.trucknews.com//trucking-is-in-vogu/1003140830/
Hope everybodys staying well and safe out there! Have a good long weekend!

Although youd hope the only other people on the road to see this are essential workers who cant stay home, its still a good message! https://www.trucknews.com//trailer-hits-the-ro/1003139256/
This isnt a new problem, but its worse with so many restaurants closed for all but drive-through. https://bc.ctvnews.ca/b-c-truckers-face-disgusting-problem-
Thanks to the truckers and pilots out there - stay safe! #Thankatrucker @CanTruck https://www.trucknews.com//canadian-trucking-a/1003138545/

National standards would be a good thing - at least every driver would have training on how to drive in snow! https://www.theglobeandmail.com//article-families-of-truc/
This is a good thing. Id like to have them require some of that training be done in snowy conditions, too. https://www.trucknews.com/canadas-truck-drivers-to-require/
One of the best things about driving a pilot vehicle is the wildlife we see in more remote areas. This would have been great to see in real life! https://www.theweathernetwork.com//family-of-lynx-seen-cro
Some interesting background here. https://www.trucknews.com//branded-the-story-o/1003136311/
And so the season of road restrictions begins... https://www.e-know.ca//load-restrictions-now-in-effect-in/
This is discouraging. Its only a small percentage of operators, but it only takes one to cause a bad accident. Its not enough to set up rules for safety, you have to ensure theyre followed, too. https://www.theglobeandmail.com//article-bc-trucking-firm/
Nice to see some truckers recognized for their positive actions! https://www.trucknews.com//canadian-truckers-n/1003130805/
It doesnt say if this will apply to oversize loads. Im inclined to think it wont, but would be happy if it does. https://biv.com//bc-streamlines-truck-permitting-along-key
It doesnt matter where youre driving, Mother Nature can get you. Be careful out there, everybody! https://www.theweathernetwork.com//canadas-most-treacherou
