Ascari Hospitality Group - May Update PIVOT. The greater good. Community involvement. These three pillars have been at the core of what’s been motivating us at AHG. After the establishment of Save Hospitality CA in the early weeks of COVID shutdown, though this work is by no means done, we’ve redirected much effort to our local communities. Led by Gare de l’Est Chef de Cuisine Deron Engbers, they’ve been in production for the past 4 weeks on some vital initiatives.... Community Food Centres of Canada is distributing meals to Toronto’s most vulnerable. According to Provincial Government’s Public Health, the single most predicting factor for COVID-19 is low-income status. Just $8 provides these communities in need a hot, nourishing meal. We’ve partnered up with St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation to provide high-quality meals to frontline workers, helping to fuel their heroic efforts in the daily fight against COVID-19. The Stop Community Food Centre is focused on emergency food access services via their food bank, takeout meals, and Community Advocacy phone lines.
