While Covid-19 seems a bit of a distant issue to many of us here on the island, it is spreading just across the water in Vancouver. I recently travelled on BC Ferries, and there is almost no enforcement of mask wearing or cleaning between parties sitting at indoor tables. This is just one way that if we are not being careful about hygiene, distancing and mask wearing that it could spread. Just like everyone, I am weary of all of this effort to prevent the spread, but it IS necessary. Very necessary. I want our kids to be able to go back to school, and I want live music performances to start again, but if we disregard the provincial recommendations, we will go backwards. Hang in there everyone! XX
