As a global leader in True Hospitality, InterContinental Hotels Group launched Views from IHG where they commissioned five Canadian photographers to capture what ‘True Hospitality’ means in five cities across Canada, inspired by @IHG hotel rooms and surrounding neighbourhoods. Living in Calgary, I was asked to bring to life what ‘true hospitality’ means for my city. Following the 2013 floods in Downtown Calgary, the city and its people were devastated Many Calgari...ans were left feeling helpless. But in true Calgary fashion, the city not only pulled through but became closer. There was no shortage of volunteers or help being offered. Every time I look at downtown, it's what I think of.
