I and my wife Cheralyn, recently completed a humanitarian dental mission to the small Pacific island nation of Tonga. We left on January 30 and returned on February 26. You can also email [email protected] and we will reach out to reschedule once normal operations can resume. Please remember to stay at home, avoid travel, wash your hands, and self-isolate for 14 days if your are returning from travel or have symptoms. We will post notifications and updates on our website and social media once we have been instructed that it is safe to reopen the office.

One of our dental assistants, Kathryn, shared some pictures of her recent dental humanitarian trip to Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. She worked in an orphanage an hour and a half from the city in the countryside. They saw girls and boys from three different orphanages and street kids ranging in age from 3 to 20.

Some of us from Ascent Dental were able to attend the Pacific Dental Conference in Vancouver last week, which attracts 14,000 dental professionals annually. There were some very interesting continuing education courses for dental professionals, as well as a very large exhibit hall.
