ASDC athletes participated in a nutrition session on how to pack a healthy lunch. Athletes walked away with a weeks worth of bento box ideas to fuel their body for performance.

ASDC NE Athlete of the month: Ruben, figure skating at Noralta Skating Club Ruben is the epitome of a great athlete. He is dedicated, committed and needs no help to be motivated. Keep up the awesome work Ruben! I am a 14 years old and have been training with ASDC since the summer of 2017. Since then, I noticed a great deal of improvement not just on the track at Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre, on the ice, but also in my every day life. ... In my spare time I enjoy building LEGO, playing mine craft, flight sim games, and following the world of a aviation. When I grow up I hope to one day become a paediatrician or a commercial pilot.
