This image is part 2 of a presentation I gave to the Community Sector Council of Nova Scotia, in September 2020, on what is happening in organizations following the death of George Floyd and how the Black Lives Matter movement gave Black people, Indigenous Peoples, Persons with Disabilities, Trans people and other marginalized groups the opportunity to speak their truths about the racial and systemic discrimination they faced every day. In many instances they were not believed. We need to change our mindset and systems.

This presentation was done in September 2020, and created positive words out of COVID -19. I am glad that positive energy has remained. #CSCNS.

Germany’s coalition government moves to close gender gap by requiring 30% female membership. "We are setting an example for a sustainable, modern society. We are exploiting all of our country’s potential so that the best in mixed teams can be more successful," Franziska Giffey, Germany’s federal minister for women.

Leaders must be a beacon of hope for their employees getting through the rough storm, being their support and offering a safe shelter or haven during these extraordinarily difficult times.
