We've been asked a few times, how we got our name: Between my husband I there was a whole list of soap co. this and soap co. that. It wasn't until someone said, "when you think of nature what comes to mind?" For me BLOOMING in the spring was always beautiful and the word itself reminded me a fresh new start or beginning, reflective of the situation I was going through at the time. For my husband the word ashbury came to mind as he was reminded of a famous street and park h...e once visited in San Francisco. Than names like ashbury soap co. Or Bloom soap co. Started flying around. Until one of our friends said " just combine the two words" and POOF there it was. The two words became our name and logo. We spent endless number of hours drawing up leaves, plants and herbs around the logo. Thank god for younger nephews that stop by and tell you when you're just not cool and remind you that less is more.
