The Chamber's Annual General Meeting will be held on November 29 at 7:00 pm, at the Ashern Legion. A special vote will be held regarding the proposed merger with Eriksdale Chamber of Commerce, so all Members are urged to attend.

Attention all voters: An all-candidates forum for R.M. of West Interlake, will be held in Ashern on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 7:30, at the Ashern Legion. Both candidates for Reeve are confirmed to attend. Presented by Ashern & District Chamber of Commerce.

Attention Chamber Members: We are now giving serious consideration to a potential merger with Eriksdale Chamber of Commerce, to form a new "Regional" Chamber of Commerce. We have met with the President of Manitoba Chambers of Commerce, and have the full support of M.C.C. to start negotiations. Due to falling membership numbers, and financial and staffing challenges, the current Chamber is no longer sustainable. Merging with Eriksdale is, in my opinion, the only way for us... to keep our Chamber of Commerce alive, strong, and with meaningful local representation. No decision will be made until we hold an open meeting and vote by Chamber members, most likely in October or November.
