The government has included some Christmas decor and Christmas items into the essential category. The following paragraph is directly taken from an official government announcement regarding essential items. These items can now be purchased by walk in customers. Seasonal items" means holiday decorations, Christmas trees, wreaths and poinsettias, seasonal religious items and greeting cards as well as gift wrap and associated items, but does not include toys, clothing or other items traditionally exchanged as gifts.

Attention to all shoppers wanting to place an online order or order an item into the store that isn’t currently in stock, you have till Monday December 14 to place your order.

We have now received a very detailed list as to essential and non essential items from the Manitoba government. There are a number of products that we originally thought were essential but we now realize are non essential. Please see the attached photos for the details and if you are unsure about an item being available for curbside pickup or instore shopping you are more than welcome to call the store and ask. We continue to serve our customers to the best of our abilities during this season in life. Please stay safe and don’t forget to show a lot of love this Christmas season!

Full-Time or Part-Time Cashier As Cashier, you would be responsible for the front-end... of our store: -assisting customers at the till with purchases and returns -assisting with customer carry-outs -managing check-out supplies -answering phones and referring customers to sales staff -sanitizing doors, customer counters, and other surfaces regularly -offering masks and hand sanitizer to customers -cleaning and dusting products and shelves -putting away stock -cleaning floors near the door daily Must be able to work Saturdays, other days would be flexible. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs unassisted. Previous experience in a retail sales or a retail cashier position would be an asset, but we will train the right candidate. We now carry kids non medical fabric masks. The masks have a pocket for a filter (which we also have in stock), adjustable straps, and a wire to ensure proper fit at the nose. See comments for a photo of the various prints. The masks retail for $6.99 each.
