So true: Think of this the next time a friend or colleague is sharing concerns about their child with you. As the author here says, you’d never say don’t worry if the risk were cancer, and we use communication ALL the time every single day. Early intervention is best. Experts go to school for years and have specialized knowledge to determine whether there is need for concern or not.
